Kesar Pista Milk

Cooking time 1 to 1and ½hr Servings 4

  1. 100gms pistachios, soaked in water for about 1 hour
  2. ½cup almonds (badam), soaked in water for 2 hours
  3. a pinch of saffron (kesar)
  4. 50gms Sugar
  5. 3cups Milk

  1. Take a pan and heat the milk, let the 3 cups simmer in very low heat, until the milk becomes 1½cups.
  2. Grind the almonds, along with pistachios and saffron until they form a smooth paste.
  3. Add the ground paste to the milk and then stir them well.
  4. Let the milk come to a boil for about twice.
  5. And remove them from the stove, and when the milk comes to room temperature.
  6. Place it in the refrigerator. Serve it chilled.
